…the best man ever. Rob turns 36 today and since we are away from home we decided simple was the way to go. So the girls and I got him a 90 minute massage and then backed him a cake. Ok I baked and they watched a movie :)
Now since I’m away from home I had to scour my favourite bakers websites for a good white cake that I could do easily in a kitchen that wasn’t mine. I went to Amanda’s website at I Am Baker for her white cake. It was so easy to use and baked really well. I added lemon juice to the batter and soaked it in lemon simple syrup and covered in a lemon glaze. Can you say lemon?????

We’ve been eating so much since we got here, so I thought a simple lemon cake would do the trick and that way he still gets a birthday cake.
